SYNOPSIS
"Francesco Morosini" is a naval military school in Venice, Italy: a boarding school, where a selected group of teenagers is initiated to the navy tradition.
The school accepts only 68 students per year. They enter at 16, and for 3 years they live side by side following a rigorous education.
The film illustrates the system of roles, rules and rituals within the college. Ultimately, ISLAND is the chance to visit an inaccessible place and to observe a life-style that rarely is shared with the outside.
