Marco Ferrari is a film director and editor for fiction films, documentaries and branded content.
His latest documentary "Never Whistle Alone", co-produced by the dutch broadcaster VPRO, premiered at DOK Leipzig in the Next Master Competition.
In 2020 he has been first editor on the feature film "De André & PFM - Il concerto ritrovato", directed by Walter Veltroni and distributed by Sony and Nexo.
In 2017 his short sci-fi documentary "Infinite Plan" opened the G7 Environment Summit in Bologna.
In 2015 he has been finalist at the italian screenwriting competition “Premio Solinas” with his documentary “Island”.
In 2014 his first feature film, “Simple Being”, has been presented at the Rio de Janeiro Film Festival; it won 5 awards and has been invited in 12 film festivals around the globe.
He has been shadow director on the TV series “Desperate Housewives”, produced by ABC television network and shot at Universal Studios, Hollywood.
From 2006 to 2009, he created video installations for international organizations and art foundations such as UNESCO and Triennale di Milano.
He has been guest lecturer at Politecnico di Milano, IULM University and Bocconi University.
He graduated in Entertainment Studies, with a focus on directing and feature film writing, at UCLA, Los Angeles.
